PAST SHOWS
Friday 28th January 8pm - THE ZOO - 711 Ann St, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
Our first time at the Zoo was cool, meeting the men of bands Sativa and Super Florence Jam, both glad to be in Brisbane. Greenthief had the release of their new single Salad Days. Photographer Barry Schiplock snapped some pearlers of 62
Thursday 27th January 7pm - Irish Club, 80 Russell St, Toowoomba
Unfortunately a quiet one due to the celebrations on the night before. At least we got to wish Jules a Happy Birthday
Wednesday 26th January 5pm - Norville Hotel, Russell St, Toowoomba
AUSTRALIA DAY !!!!
What an awesome arvo - the Australian flag adorned in almost every corner. Ended up entering a crime scene without actually knowing, but avoided getting arrested. We created some new friendships.
IRISH CLUB - GUITAR COMPETITION - Toowoomba 18th Dec
The guitar competition was a success and we hope to continue these sorts of events in the future. Ryan Trogdor Dixon ended up winning first prize.
SUMMER RIOT FESTIVAL - Toowoomba, 12th Dec
Kick-ass set at a wonderfully organised festival. The line-up was great too - with Numbers Radio headlining. We were pretty much the only band other than the two metal bands - Revelations and Casualities of War - at the end of the night to have people dancing!! .

BASEMENT 243, Brisbane, 11th Dec
This new club is located across from the Fortitude Valley train station has only been open for two weeks. We got to share the stage with The Fuss and Mace and The Motor. Not our best performance but we met a variety of interesting people and reconnected with some old friends.
Globe Theatre, Jubilee Hotel, Pigapalooza Festival, 4ZZZ Radio - 10th - 12th Sept
We enjoyed a really fun show at the Globe with The Pugs and A Cartoon Graveyard. What really made the night run smoothly was the Globe Odyssey team who are basically a group of volunteers (Old Man, Chaos, Alison, Devon and Eddie) that help to keep the Globe running and play a special part in keeping the Brisbane music scene alive.
Saturday - the Jubilee was pumping with 3 stages of music (2 downstairs and 1 upstairs). We played a great set thanks to soundman Anthony and caught up with a few of our friends Lauren, Sally and Karen, the gang from Greenthief, Tinian's Boy and Run For A Bus. Thankyou to Shayne and the boys from To The Hilt for inviting us down to the Pigapolooza Festival.
Early Sunday morning, wearied eyed from a big weekend of gigs and paying for shitty parking / accommodation, we arrived at 4ZZZ Radio to be greeted by DJ Dan Stella and Peter Hickey for another catch up and to test out some new material on the ears of some 10,000 listeners or so we were told (whose up at that time in the morning!)
IRISH CLUB - WEAPONHEAD Surgical Smile Tour 2nd Sept (Toowoomba)
Alas it was our last stint with the men of Weaponhead on their Surgical Smile Tour. We also had Sydney rockers L.U.S.T. (who had previously supported Ace Frehley of KISS) and the 'zeppelinesq' Volturays from Toowoomba. Meeting more new faces. The Weaponhead continue onto Maroochydore tonight. We take the weekend to record and write.
4ZZZ RADIO FISHING COMP 29th August (Morningside)
It was a pleasure to play and to meet part of the 4ZZZ family / fishing crew, and our new found friends DJ Fisherman Dan and Peter Hickey. We met so many great people - Jackie and Jay Walsh, Rollo, Glenn, Craig, Steve, Rob, Chris, Brad and many more. It was an honor to play with the likes of Blowhard, veterans of the Brisbane music scene 25 years and running. We hope to see you all again in the near future.
BRISBANE - GLOBE THEATRE 21st August (Weaponhead 'Surgical Smile' Tour)
After battling roos, an inflation $ on rum and precipitation, Weaponhead arrived in Brisbane nearing the end of their tour. They were joined by yours truly Project 62 and the resolutely mysterious Greenthief for a memorable show. For us it was a perfect end to a never-ending day of total disarray arriving in a coach that looked to be a private one, but you can't fool anyone these days. Thankyou to all our dear friends that came to the show.
GOONDIWINDI - QUEENSLAND HOTEL 13th & 14th of August
The guys had a great time hanging out after the two shows with Boris, Drew, Steve and Dave (Weaponhead), Julian, Gwen and Steve (Greenthief) and Trav, Henrat and Kane (Hawk & Hound) plus the Pink Noize crew. We drank on and on through the night, the lastest night owls deciding to laugh at the time until 4am. We caught up with some long time Goondi friends and made some new friends out there after the show. Hope to do this again soon.
IRISH CLUB 9th July - It was indeed an interesting mix of bands with Greenthief headlining the show. Project 62 unveiled a new song - "Forwarned Love" along with other fresh material that will be appearing on their next release.
